Construction
Trims and construction that define a hoodie.
Hood
Single-layer or lined, panel construction, opening width and whether it carries a drawcord — each changes fabric use and how the hood sits when worn.
Closure
Pullover or zip-through, with zip type, colour and length agreed at development so the placket runs flat through bulk.
Pockets
Kangaroo pouch, side-seam or zip pockets, positioned on the pattern so they line up the same way across every size.
Cuffs and hem
Rib fabric, width and tightness at cuff and hem — the details that decide whether a hoodie keeps its shape after months of wear.
Drawcords and eyelets
Cord type and tipping, metal eyelets or stitched buttonholes, specified on the trim list rather than left open to substitution.

Hoodies and crew sweatshirts are often ordered together. When they share a fabric, specifying both in the same enquiry lets colour, weight and handfeel be developed and approved as one range, instead of two separate orders that drift apart.

Can you make matching hoodies and joggers?
Yes. Specify both in one enquiry and they are developed as a set, with fabric and colour approved together. Our tracksuit and jogger page explains how sets are handled.
Can embroidery go on the hood or sleeve?
Print and embroidery positions include chest, back, sleeve and hood, depending on artwork size and how that panel is constructed. Placements are confirmed on the sample.
What fabric weight should a hoodie be?
It depends on your market, season and price point. Describe the feel you want or send a reference hoodie and we will propose fabric options; our fabric GSM guide explains the trade-offs.
Do you produce crew-neck sweatshirts as well?
Yes. Crew sweatshirts are produced with the same specification discipline — fabric, rib and shoulder construction — and can share fabric with a hoodie style in the same range.
